Το BMW I Vision Dynamics, ένα concept ηλεκτρικό coupe, παρουσιάστηκε από την BMW στην έκθεση της Φρανκφούρτης, με τελική ταχύτητα 200 χλμ/ώρα και επιτάχυνση 0-100 σε 4 δεύτερα, ενώ έχει αυτονομία 600 χιλιομέτρων.
Ο CEO της BMW Harald Krueger δήλωσε ότι η «ηλεκτροκίνηση είναι βασική προτεραιότητα». H BMW δήλωσε ότι το νέο όχημα θα μπει στην παραγωγή, πιθανότατα το 2021.
Το νέο όχημα τοποθετείται ανάμεσα στα μοντέλα i3 και i8, με στόχο της εταιρίας εως το 2015 να διαθέτει 25 ηλεκτρικά μοντέλα στην γκάμα της με τα 12 να είναι πλήρως ηλεκτρικά.
